Developer Brian M Durkan & Co is just completing its latest South Co Dublin project, comprising some 30 apartments at Beaufield Mews, on Woodlands Avenue in Stillorgan, Co Dublin where prices for one-bedroom homes start at €555,000.
The scheme occupies the former site of Beaufield Mews Restaurant and antique shop, which traded there for more than 70 years before closing in 2019. Hooke & MacDonald is handling the sales
Designed by Paul Byrne Architects, the four-storey development comprises nine one-bedroom apartments, 18 two-bedroom units and three three-bedroom homes.
Most are dual aspect, with each apartment having a private balcony or terrace. The penthouses have larger south-facing terraces, while the ground-floor apartments have their own front doors.
The one-bedroom apartments extend to between 66.5 and 68 square metres and are priced from €555,000.
Two-bedroom units range from 84.6 to 99.8 square metres, with prices mainly between €710,000 and €825,000.
Prices for the three-bedroom apartments are from about €840,000.
All 30 apartments have an A-rated building energy rating. Heating, ventilation and hot water are provided by a Joule Modulair heat pump, while high-performance insulation and double-glazed windows are designed to reduce heat loss.
Each home also has a KNX smart-home system, allowing residents to control lighting through a wall-mounted panel or mobile phone app.
The fully fitted Nolan’s kitchens feature ‘cashmere’ shaker-style cabinetry, quartz worktops and integrated Siemens appliances.
Bathrooms have brass fittings and heated towel rails, while bedrooms include fitted wardrobes.
Other features include secure allocated parking, bicycle storage, CCTV, controlled electric gates and a landscaped courtyard with seating. The apartments are covered by a 10-year Homebond latent defects insurance policy.
The development is beside Oatlands College and about 650 metres from Stillorgan Village Shopping Centre. The N11 Core Bus Corridor is approximately 200 metres away, providing direct routes towards the city centre and the IFSC.
University College Dublin is about 2.6 kilometres away, while the M50 is 3.8 kilometres from the scheme.
