Hooke & MacDonald were appointed by David Carson, Receiver, Deloitte on the planned NAMA funded development on the grounds of Diswellstown House, Porterstown Road, Castleknock to act as estate agency advisors to the Development Team led by Corcom and as sales agent on the proposed development.
Hooke & MacDonald worked closely with Corcom and the Receiver to achieve a planning permission which would protect the features of the site, provide a housing scheme which would be both visually appealing and suited to the needs of the prospective home buyers. The result is a rich mix of 120 two, three and four bedroom houses in attractive formations while at the same time preserving the original manor house and outbuildings.
A vibrant marketing strategy was devised and implemented commencing in the Autumn of 2015 which proved highly successful. Over 80 of the 120 houses have been sold with the benefit of two showhouses ahead of target and at prices that exceed most competing developments. The newspaper and online marketing strategy combined with the showapartments have resulted in Diswellstown Manor being one of the most successful developments being carried out in the Dublin area in recent years.
The Hooke & MacDonald sales team, led by David Cantwell, provided a personal dedicated service for Diswellstown Manor, as is the case in all other developments handled by the agency. This included personally attending the showhouses for the weekend viewings and special appointments and ongoing meetings with Corcom, the Receiver and legal team to ensure a smooth sales process, also excellent weekly reporting.
